We’re Scott and Brittany Howerton—first generation ranchers and the heart behind Howerton Oaks Ranch. Nestled in the Big Bend of Florida our ranch is more than just a piece of land—it’s our passion, our purpose, and our way of giving back to the community we love.

At Howerton Oaks Ranch, we blend tradition with sustainability. We specialize in the ethical breeding and sale of Florida Cattle & Nigerian Dwarf goats. While also offering beef shares, fresh seasonal produce, vibrant plants & flowers courtesy of Bloom's by B and handcrafted goods.

Our ranch is also a welcoming space for community gatherings and special events. We are especially proud to have hosted the annual herding dog event "Howerton Oaks Sheepdog Showcase" several years running. Whether you're here to learn, celebrate, or simply enjoy the land, we’re proud to offer a place where people can reconnect with nature and each other.

Sustainability is at the core of everything we do. From responsible farming practices to conservation efforts, we’re committed to nurturing the land for future generations. As self-taught farmers, we know the value of learning by doing—and we’re passionate about sharing that knowledge to help others grow their own food, start homesteads, and live more intentionally.
